As I remember it the amount of energy necessary to get me or store 5ah at 50 volts, so 250 watt hours...I think I'd have to raise 100lbs to something like 9000 feet. Maybe it was 900. How much was it? Batteries are damn good

the #'s i calculated was to charge an iphone:

5.45 watt hours = 2414.43lbs lifted to 6 feet
5.45 watt hours = 144.8lbs person climbing to 11th story of a building (100ft)
